Marcel Hirscher: It doesn't work without snow

After Hirscher's resignation, the great skiing nation of Austria has fallen into a hole and is in danger of not winning the Nations Cup for the first time since the 1989/90 season. Problems that the superstar doesn't deal with. Hirscher enjoys his ski pension to the fullest. And not just with his wife Laura and their son.

When he said goodbye in September 2019, he announced that he wanted to spend more time in the mountains. A plan that he is now implementing.

In the last few days and weeks, the Austrian has been posting numerous photos on Instagram that show him storming the summit. “It is indescribably beautiful here in the mountains,” wrote Salzburg, for example, under a photo.
