Mölgg: “That was a strong team performance”

Manfred Mölgg (13th place): “It was a very tough fight. I'm partially satisfied with my performance, also because it was a strenuous week for me (Mölgg was sick, editor's note). I take this result with me and have to be patient. Today we delivered a strong team performance, the boys showed off. Of course it would be nice if one of us finished a little further ahead.”

Simon Maurberger (17th): “These were two positive days, as it is the first time that I was able to qualify for the second round in the slalom and giant slalom on the same weekend. But there are still a few things to improve, which I have to approach with calm and patience. Then I’m sure that bigger results will come out.”

Riccardo Tonetti (19th): “If you qualify for the second run with start number 57, that’s always good. I would have expected a little more in the second run, but I'm still happy to take the points home with me. I'm pleased that six Azzurri took part in the second race. This year the boys are doing really well and are giving us a boost too.”

Alex Vinatzer (20th): “I could perhaps have attacked more, but this time I drove a bit smartly compared to the Madonna slalom. I still have to work on myself and try to do better. Driving in Adelboden for the first time was definitely cool.”

Fabian Bacher (24th, first World Cup points ever): “It took a while, but now I’ve finally made it to the second round. I'm happy about that. Now I have to work on getting better in the second run too. We are a strong team and we show it.”

Mölgg: “That was a strong team performance”

Five South Tyroleans made it into the top 30 at the slalom in Adelboden on Sunday and collected World Cup points. The voices of the protagonists can be found here.
