Ski superstar Mikaela Shiffrin experienced the next debacle at the Winter Olympics in China. After her early exit from the giant slalom, the American also made a mistake in the first run of the slalom and was eliminated after just five goals.

Mikaela Shiffrin repeatedly closed her eyes or took short pauses while speaking, but then she could no longer hold back the tears. The 26-year-old was visibly scarred after being eliminated from the slalom, but still bravely answered journalists' questions.
