After death drama: Miller wants to save other children

It was actually supposed to be a cozy garden party with friends. In the end, Miller and his wife Morgan experienced the worst day of their lives: Emeline, the couple's 19-month-old daughter, drowned during an unsupervised moment in the swimming pool.

For Miller, the world stopped at that time. Now, a few days later, the former ski star spoke out on Instagram. “We are deeply touched,” he said, thanking the numerous expressions of condolence. He also looked to the future - and wanted to spare his parents the pain he was experiencing these days.

Miller has started a crowdfunding campaign from which he would like to donate the proceeds to improve child safety. “We will donate these funds to worthwhile causes related to water safety education. We want to help prevent as many drowning deaths as possible,” said the American.
