Nicole Delago Italian downhill champion among the candidates

There were three medals for the South Tyrolean skiers at the start of the Italian championship for candidates (born 1995/96) in Tarvisio/Sella Nevea. In the girls' downhill race, South Tyrol celebrated a double victory on Wednesday: the title went to Nicole Delago from Val Gardena, while Verena Gasslitter took silver. Simon Maurberger also won a silver medal in the boys' slalom.
