Noel outshines the competition

The leading Noel made perfect use of start number 1 and set a best time that the competition had to cut their teeth on. The fact that the young Frenchman can be extremely fast was already clear before the first round in Wengen: After all, Noel has always been on the podium this season if he finishes both races.

Second-placed Henrik Kristoffersen (Norway) is already 67 hundredths of a second behind Noel. The time gaps behind this are not too great. The Austrian Marco Schwarz (3rd) is only 6 hundredths of a second behind Kristoffersen.

No Azzurro in the top 10 The best Azzurro is currently Giuliano Razzoli in 11th place. From a South Tyrolean perspective, Simon Maurberger (14th) was convincing. Alex Vinatzer, however, couldn't cope with the narrow goal gaps in the first run and is in 1rd place. Riccardo Tonetti (23th) from Bolzano is not included in the decision. The second round will take place from 34:2 p.m.
