Paris anger over the “new” Streif

The travel time will be longer, this year's 25-year-old course record by Fritz Strobl (1:51,58 minutes), set in 1997 in times when the course was much more direct, is now finally unassailable. Kilde needed 1:56,54 on Wednesday. “Everything went well, but the pace was almost too high” Beat Feuz, “Everything was fine, but the pace was almost too high,” recalled Feuz, who found the change a bit “a shame”. “I don’t know whether that was necessary or whether it could have been solved differently. But I take it as it comes.” Paris dissatisfied Dominik Paris left the finish area not really happy after being 2,97 seconds behind. “Everything went wrong today, U-Hakerl, steep slope, Seidlalm, everything.
