Reason to celebrate: 4th place for Dominik Paris (Pentaphoto) Christof Innerhofer was also convincing (Pentaphoto)
Paris narrowly missed out on the podium, Svindal was unbeatable
Numerous interruptions in fog characterized the Lauberhorn descent on Saturday afternoon, with runners with higher start numbers in particular encountering difficult conditions. Strong performances from Dominik Paris and Christof Innerhofer: While Gaiser took 5th place, Paris only missed the podium by five hundredths of a second. However, everything was once again overshadowed by Aksel Lund Svindal, who secured his first victory on the Lauberhon and thus took back the overall World Cup lead.
