Pinturault leads in Adelboden - South Tyrolean trio in the second race

In front of numerous enthusiastic spectators, Alexis Pinturault found the best line on Chuenisbärgli in the Bernese Oberland. The Frenchman made ideal use of starting number 1 and set the clear best time in 1:12.91 minutes. Behind the 25-year-old, the two Austrians Philipp Schörghofer (+0.64) and Marcel Hirscher (+0.70) take second and third place.

As the best-placed South Tyrolean, Manfred Mölgg reached 15th place in the first round. The experienced Enneberger showed a decent drive and goes into the decision as the third best “Azzurro” behind his teammates Luca De Aliprandini (ninth place) and Roberto Nani (twelfth place). Also taking part in the second run is Florian Eisath from Eggen. However, the third-placed Alta Badia made a blatant mistake after a few goals and lost over 2,5 seconds to the leader Pinturault. Riccardo Tonetti (+3.39) also opened up a big gap. The man from Bolzano just managed to qualify for the second run in 27th place. Simon Maurberger and Hannes Zingerle (both eliminated), however, are not there.

The second round in Adelboden starts at 13.30 p.m.
