Prize money ranking: These ski stars earn the most

The overall World Cup winners Marco Odermatt and Lara Gut-Behrami also took first place in the prize money ranking for the past Alpine skiing World Cup season. Here is a ranking.

Odermatt earned 13 Swiss francs (around 810.000 euros) with 832.600 wins this season, and Gut-Behrami earned 574.200 (590.200) with eight victories, among others. Behind Kitzbühel downhill double winner Cyprien Sarrazin from France (365.500/375.700), slalom shot winner Manuel Feller is third with 317.050 (325.900). The best Azzurro is Dominik Paris from Ultimo in eighth place. The Val Gardena winner collected 138.300 Swiss francs (142.057 euros) this year.


In the women's category, Mikaela Shiffrin from the USA is second with 557.000 (572.500). Third is Federica Brignone (484.000/497.153). The best South Tyrolean in this ranking is Nicol Delago in 36th place. The Val Gardena native, who was on the podium twice this year, won 34.125 francs (35.052 euros) in prize money.
