Prize money: Shiffrin and Hirscher win

The American Shiffrin leads the prize money rankings with prizes totaling 703.000 Swiss francs (600.000 euros), the Austrian Hirscher is the Croesus among men with 670.000 francs (571.500 euros). Shiffrin (23) achieved twelve victories this season and six more podium places in the Olympic winter. Hirscher (29) even won 13 times and achieved three more podium places.

Two Italians, Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone, are also in the top ten. They pocketed 261.000 (223.000 euros) and 223.000 francs (190.000 euros) respectively. South Tyrol's top earner last winter was Dominik Paris, who was paid a total of 92.000 francs (79.000 euros).
