Over at the age of 28: Magnus Walch ends his career

Walch announced this on social media on Saturday. He made 22 World Cup starts in his career, his best result was a 14th place in Adelboden in 2018. “Since graduating from school 10 years ago, I have been able to live my dream as a professional. With all the ups and downs. I have 482 races at FIS level behind me, 55 podium places and 30 victories. For the young Magnus, starting in a World Cup race seemed almost unattainable. Now there is a European Cup podium, 22 World Cup starts, World Cup points and a top 15 result on the credit side. It's time. Time to look back. Time to be grateful,” he writes, among other things.
