The 2022/23 ski season has been magical so far. The ninth (!) race had to be canceled on Friday. A men's downhill race would have been planned in Beaver Creek from 18.15:XNUMX p.m. (CET), but the weather didn't cooperate. “There is strong wind and it is currently snowing. “That is why the FIS, together with the local organizing committee, decided to cancel the descent,” says the Italian winter sports association FISI. The program in Beaver Creek will therefore be reduced, as three races were originally planned on the “Birds of Prey”. It is now hoped that the downhill on Saturday (18 p.m.) and the Super-G on Sunday (18 p.m.) can go ahead as planned. The two cross-country races in Zermatt (end of October) were canceled due to lack of snow, and last week a downhill race in Lake Louise had to be canceled and was then held instead of a Super-G. Now the weather isn't playing along in Beaver Creek either.
