Corinne Suter is known as sunshine in the ski circus. The Swiss always has a smile on her face and it is not for nothing that she is one of the most popular women in the World Cup. But now the world champion and Olympic champion is confronted with heartbreak. As she announced on social media, her beloved horse Nikito has died.

“Farewells are the worst,” Suter writes about a photo that shows her with her white horse. “I will always love you.” The horse did not belong to Suter, as she spends a lot of time away from home due to her job as a professional skier. But whenever she had time, the Swiss woman looked after her darling.

Many friends from the ski circus also commented on the farewell post, including Lindsey Vonn, who sent several broken heart emojis.
