The FIS Congress is currently taking place in Barcelona, ​​during which, among other things, the provisional World Cup calendars for the coming seasons are being approved. As is traditional, the starting signal for the 2014/15 Alpine Ski World Cup will be given on the last weekend in October (October 25th to 26th) in Sölden, while the grand finale this year will be held in Meribel (March 18th to 22nd). The highlight of the season is undoubtedly the World Championships in Vail/Beaver Creek at the beginning of February.
