Nani criticizes after being booted out: “No call, no conversation”

Roberto Nani has had a very difficult season. The Italian was no longer considered for the World Cup in December because of his poor performances, and he also didn't get going at all in the European Cup. Now the association has taken a drastic measure and banned Nani from all teams. The 30-year-old is neither in the World Cup squad nor in the European Cup team - even though he has already proven that he can do it with 18 top 10 places in the World Cup in the past.

The technology specialist's reaction was therefore somewhat polemical. “As you have seen,” Nani writes on Instagram, “I am no longer part of the FISI programs. I was hoping for a call or a conversation – like we agreed – but nothing happened.”

But the 30-year-old is also self-critical: “Last season didn’t go as I had hoped, especially in the races I wasn’t able to reach my potential, but I was always fast in the training sessions.” Nani concludes another declaration of war: “I will work on myself this summer and try everything to be ready. If I get the chance, we’ll see each other in Sölden.”
