Ski star Reichelt and his South Tyrolean wife are becoming parents

Downhill ace Hannes Reichelt (38) and Larissa Hofer (32) from Sulden have been a couple for years, and in 2016 they got married in Meran. Now the two are having offspring. “It’s time to reveal our little secret: Our family is growing in the spring,” said the ski star, who has won 13 World Cup races in his career and won one world championship title (2015 in Beaver Creek).

Larissa Hofer used to be an active skier herself and competed in a total of five World Cup races. She also met Reichelt through the ski circus in 2008. In April 2009, the Suldner woman ended her career, later began studying medicine and is now a doctor. Hofer also took part in the Miss South Tyrol election in 2010. Larissa's father Emil Hofer has been Reichelt's private trainer for years.
