Ski World Cup 2017/18: All dates at a glance

The 39 men's races include 9 downhills, 6 super-G, 8 giant slaloms, 10 slaloms, 2 alpine combinations, 2 city events, a parallel giant slalom and the team event at the World Cup finals in Are. The 40 women's races, on the other hand, include 8 downhills, 8 super-G, 9 giant slaloms, 9 slaloms, 2 alpine combinations, 2 city events, a parallel slalom and the final team event.

As always, the start is with 2 giant slaloms on the last weekend in October in Sölden; The World Cup finals in Are are scheduled for March 14-18, 2018. Due to the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, the World Cup will be interrupted from February 9th to 25th.

4 men's and 1 women's races in South Tyrol

4 men's and 1 women's races are planned in South Tyrol. The men will compete in the Super-G and the downhill from Val Gardena on Friday and Saturday, 15/16. December, as well as the giant slalom and the night parallel giant slalom in Alta Badia on Sunday and Monday, 17th/18th. December. The women, on the other hand, will compete on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in the giant slalom on the Erta slope in St. Vigil or at Kronplatz.

Ski World Cup 2017/18: All dates at a glance

As part of its autumn meeting in Zurich, the World Ski Association FIS officially approved the Ski World Cup calendar for the 2017/18 season. 39 races are planned for men and 40 races for women, a total of 5 of them in South Tyrol.
