Ski Association FIS discusses Lindsey Vonn and the men

At the Hilton Hotel in Zurich, the FIS officials, representatives of the national ski associations and the organizers of the World Cup races are not only discussing Vonn and the men. This Olympic winter, the men in giant slalom will again be skiing with more tapered skis; the radius has been reduced from 35 to 30 meters. In addition, uniform rules for the city events should be discussed and a reform in the choice of course setters. In the future, these could only be drawn five days before the race. The respective course setters are currently drawn before the start of the season. The venue for the 2019 World Cup final has also been decided: the decision will be between Lenzerheide in Switzerland and Bansko in Bulgaria.

The FIS autumn meeting in Zurich ends on October 5th, when it will probably be decided whether Lindsey Vonn will be allowed to compete in the men's downhill in Lake Louise in Canada in November.
