Strong South Tyrolean presence at the season finale in Aspen

From next Monday to Sunday, the last competitions of the season in a total of five disciplines will be held in Aspen (Colorado). The best 25 racers of the season in each discipline can qualify for the final. The men's nominees have already been chosen, including six South Tyroleans. However, Christof Innerhofer, who made it to the final round in the Super-G, has to take a break due to injury.

Before this intensive week of competition, the women complete a giant slalom on Friday and a slalom on Saturday (1st round at 19.00 p.m. and 2nd round at 22 p.m. CET). For Manuela Mölgg, the slalom competition in Squaw Valley, California is crucial for qualifying for the World Cup final: she is currently in 26th place in the overall ranking of this discipline. However, she has already qualified in the giant slalom.
