South Tyroleans get a “Watschn” in Beaver Creek

There was the time before the 2015 World Ski Championships in Vail-Beaver Creek, and there is the time after. Before 2015, the Birds of Prey slope was a living room for the South Tyroleans, Christof Innerhofer won the downhill there in 2012, and Peter Fill came third in the downhill and super-G in 2013. Nothing worked for the highly rated “Azzurri” at the 2015 World Cup, and now this: At the Super-G on Friday, only Dominik Paris came in tenth, just barely making it into the top 10.
