Twitter message: Vonn ponders and thanks ski stars

As reported, Lindsey Vonn burst into tears after the Cortina Super-G and said it was her last race. A little later she also said that she had to think about everything again.

Now Vonn wrote on Twitter: “I have so much to process, but before that happens I have to thank Cortina for their support this weekend. From the organizers to the fans to the journalists - everyone was so kind to me in my emotional state. Above all, I would like to thank the athletes who made my last Cortina run so special. Thanks to Sofia Goggia, Conny Hütter, Laurenne Ross, Ragnhild Mowinckel, Ilka Stuhec, Stephanie Venier, Tina Weirather, Ramona Siebenhofer and Kajsa Lie. Thank you for the kindness and respect you have shown me.”

I have so much to process but before I do that I need to thank @cortinaclassic for all of the love and support this weekend. From the organizers, to the fans, and even the journalists; everyone was so kind to me in my emotional state. And above all, thank you to the athletes who
