Over 100.000 euros in prize money for Paris and Innerhofer

Tina Maze broke all records in this year's ski season. The Slovenian won eleven races, was on the podium 24 times and managed an incredible 2414 World Cup points. In doing so, she may have set a record for eternity; the old record was held by Hermann Maier with exactly 2000 points. Of course, she also clearly leads the prize money ranking. Only Marcel Hirscher from Salzburg, who also has six wins and 18 podium places this year, comes closer to the Slovenian with 437.516 euros. Far behind in third to fifth place are the Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal (244.132 euros), the American Ted Ligety (220.379) and the German Felix Neurteuther (206.688).

Of the South Tyrolean skiers, Dominik Paris earned the most with almost 110.000 euros. If you add the sponsorship money and various bonuses, then the winner of the downhill runs from Bormio and Kitzbühel could perhaps realize his dream of owning his own little house this year.

Christof Innerhofer is also 103.000 euros richer. He even won three downhill runs, in Beaver Creak, Wengen and Garmisch. Manfred Mölgg also drove sensationally this year and earned an impressive 75.537 euros. In addition, Waltner Werner Heel made it to 51.926 euros on his comeback to the top of the world.

A total of eleven South Tyroleans appear in the 2013 prize money ranking. All together come to 368.973 euros. A small comparison: South Tyrol's best tennis player, Andreas Seppi from Kaltern, won an impressive 2012 euros ($731.583) in prize money in 947.316.
