The ski season is slowly but surely coming to an end. While everything has already been decided in the technical disciplines (slalom and giant slalom crystal go to Marcel Hirscher) and nothing will happen in the fight for the overall World Cup (Hirscher leads by almost 500 points), everything is still in the speed disciplines open. And a South Tyrolean is right in the middle of the fight for crystal.

Super-G: The big opportunity for Paris The starting position in Super-G is extremely exciting. Vincent Kriechmayr is in the lead here with 236 points, followed by Matthias Mayer (233), Dominik Paris (230), Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (227) and the already retired Aksel Lund Svindal (219). What speaks for Paris: As a newly crowned Super-G world champion, the man from Ultimo has an extremely broad chest, is in the form of his life and has already raced onto the podium three times in the World Cup, even achieving a victory in Bormio. In this discipline, “Domme” has the best chance of winning the crystal globe in the last two World Cup races (Kvitfjell and Soldeu). Departure: Feuz has a cushion, but… Things get more difficult in the downhill: Beat Feuz is currently in the lead with 420 points, Paris is second with 320, Christof Innerhofer is third with 260. The Swiss is a master of consistency in the downhill this year and has been in the 6 World Cup races so far never worse than 6. So it won't be easy for Paris, but there is still a small chance. Also because there are still 3 races left in the downhill race (2 in Kvitfjell, 1 in Soldeu).
