On Tuesday, however, she returned to the piste for a lightning comeback and presented herself in extremely strong form in the giant slalom in Lienz - until the race had an almost tragic outcome. Robinson showed in the first round that the Corona quarantine hadn't affected her and finished in 5th place. In the decision she was once again on course for the podium, but then she missed a goal a few meters before the finish and was eliminated. “Oh man, I was so close to having a good day. I'm really disappointed with how it ended and that I was eliminated at the third-to-last gate. This sport can be so brutal sometimes. I think I lacked the strength to get myself out of this situation today. “It’s been a really wild few weeks,” Robinson says, sharing her thoughts on social media. encouragement from the competition “I take the positive things with me. The speed was good, I just need to bring it down the whole race next time. “I’m looking forward,” says Robinson combatively. The 20-year-old has already won three giant slalom races in her career and is one of the great promises of the future.
