Gustav Thöni is a living legend. South Tyrol's best skier of all time has won the overall World Cup four times, won Olympic gold and became world champion. Despite the hype, he always remained the nice boy from Trafoi. 50 years after his legendary gold win at the 1972 Olympics in Sapporo, a biography about the now 71-year-old has been published. There's a little foretaste of this in our video, in which Thöni reveals one or two amusing anecdotes from his glorious career.
