Petra Vlhova once again demonstrated her class on Thursday with her victory in the parallel giant slalom in Lech/Zürs and impressively underlined her ambitions in the overall World Cup. However, her coup was preceded by a very special warm-up program: While her rivals usually relax in the hotel room before making a final decision, carry out analyzes or, at most, get on the ergometer for a short time, Vlhova went out on the street. Using cones, she mapped out a narrow course on the asphalt, strapped five wheels under her ski boots and skied up and down the course.
