Video| Slalom ace Dave Ryding changes ski company

The 2016/17 season was Dave Ryding's winter: In the World Cup he placed in the top 10 for the first time (6th in Levi), in the slalom in Kitzbühel he was in the lead after the first run, and in the end he was happy to come in second still achieved his first podium, beaten only by “Mr. Slalom” Marcel Hirscher.

In the Olympic winter, the Brit “only” made it into the top 10 in three races, sixth place in the night slalom in Madonna di Campiglio was his best result in the slalom, and Ryding finished the Olympic slalom in ninth place.

After five seasons with Fischer, the noble technician from the county of Lancashire is now under contract with Dynastar. For Ryding it is a return to the “old family” because the Brit skied with Dynastar in his youth and also won the slalom classification in the European Cup for the French ski manufacturer in 2013. Dave Ryding has signed a two-year contract with Dynastar.

The Swiss Gino Caviezel is also now under contract with Dynastar.
