Viktoria Rebensburg wins again

The 30-year-old received the award as the best German alpine racer of the past season. Rebensburg had won two more races, including their last ever with the downhill at the home World Cup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on February 2th. As expected, the Golden Ski for the men went to Thomas Dreßen, who celebrated 3 World Cup victories and also achieved 3 third places. Dreßen also won the election for “Ski Athlete of the Year”: This is chosen across disciplines by all DSV squad athletes from the Golden Ski winners. Viktoria Rebensburg wins again

One and a half months after her surprising resignation, Viktoria Rebensburg was awarded the Golden Ski by the German Ski Association (DSV) for the last time.
