Dominik Zuech impressed at the World Cup opener in Val Thorens (FRA).

Exclamation mark from Zuech in Val Thorens

The start of the Ski Crosser World Cup took place in Val Thorens on Thursday. Dominik Zuech was able to experience a sense of achievement for himself.

Zuech's performance on Thursday in Val Thorens was strong. The ski crosser from Lana was able to fight his way to the semi-finals, where he then had to admit defeat. Things didn't go quite as planned for Zuech in the small finale, but 8th place in the first race of the season is a strong exclamation mark for the former alpine skier.

Zuech's teammate Yannick Gunsch was also there. However, the Vinschger failed in the first race in the round of 12.30. Incidentally, the victory went to Tristan Takats from Austria, who won the grand final ahead of Tyler Wallasch (USA) and Romain Detraz (SUI). On Friday (XNUMX p.m.) there will be another chance for the ski crossers in Val Thorens.
