Eight South Tyroleans at the Nordic U23 and Junior World Championships in Rasnov

Since there is not much snow in Romania, some changes have already had to be made to the cross-country ski race program. In this discipline, Michael Hellweger from Sarn will be competing in the juniors and Stefan Zelger from Bolzano will be competing in the U23s. The four ski jumpers are all from Val Gardena: Alex Insam, Joy Senoner, Manuela Malsiner and her sister Lara Malsiner, who just won bronze at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer on Tuesday. Two South Tyroleans are also starting in the Nordic Combined: Martin Taschler from Pusteria and Aaron Kostner from Val Gardena.

Eight South Tyroleans at the Nordic U23 and Junior World Championships in Rasnov

The Italian winter sports federation FISI has announced the team for the Nordic U23 and Junior World Championships, which will take place from February 22nd to 28th, 2016 in Rasnov, Romania. A total of 26 “Azzurri” were called up, including eight South Tyroleans.
