Female ski jumpers miss out on a top ten placement in Japan

The American Hendrickson won the first competition ahead of Takanashi. Third place went to the Austrian Daniela Iraschko. In the second competition, the Japanese took revenge and relegated Hendrickson to second place this time. The German Ulrike Grässler climbed to the third floor.

The best South Tyrolean on Saturday was Evelyn Insam, who secured places 14 (1st competition) and 27 (2nd competition). Elena Runggaldier took 21st and 31st place, while Lisa Demetz finished the two competitions in 24th and 32nd place respectively.

In the overall World Cup, Hendrickson is still ahead with 989 points, followed by Irashko (674) and Takanashi (479). Evelyn Insam is in 13th place with two competitions to go.

Female ski jumpers miss out on a top ten placement in Japan
