Burgada and Roux at the start in Martell
On Sunday, March 25th, the Marmotta Trophy will take place in Martell, the only ski touring World Cup race in South Tyrol. The entire elite of this fascinating sport will be there. Above all, the Catalan Kilian Jornet Burgada, who is currently in first place in the overall World Cup and was able to win the “Marmotta” last year. The South Tyrolean Manfred Reichegger is also there. He is in second place in the overall World Cup, 80 points behind Burgada, and will be looking to make up ground on the leader in his “home race”. Close on his heels is Lorenzo Holzknecht in third place in the World Cup.
