Three Peaks Ski Raid in the starting blocks

At the Drei Zinnen Ski Raid, everything is demanded of the participants. No wonder with a route length of 13,8 kilometers with around 1500 meters of elevation gain.

From the start in Fischleintal (1454 meters above sea level), you first go via the valley end hut (1548) up to the Zsigmondy hut (2224). A first, crisp descent awaits all ski mountaineers here before they put on their skins again and the participants climb to the refreshment point at Büllelejoch (2528). This is followed by a second descent down to the Bodensees (2215 meters). The athletes can relax here for a moment before climbing to the Sextnerstein - and at 2539 meters above sea level, the highest point of the race. Ski tourers even have to complete the final part of this section on foot, with skis on their backpacks. Once you have arrived at the Sextnerstein, the reward for the great exertion awaits you: the more than four kilometer long descent down to the valley end hut, where the destination is.

The starting signal will be on Saturday, March 24th at 8 a.m. for all ski mountaineers who are registered with the Italian winter sports association FISI. The amateurs set off five minutes later. All participants are obliged to carry all ski touring equipment with them, i.e. a helmet, a functioning and switched on avalanche transceiver that must be worn on the body, as well as a backpack, probe, shovel and a rescue blanket.

Registrations are possible until March 23rd at 12 p.m. Athletes from Italy must register via the portal of the Italian winter sports federation FISI. Participants in the “Amateur” category, however, can register directly on the Drei Zinnen Ski Raid website (this way) , or send the completed registration form (http://www.dreizinnenlauf.com/anmelde-ski-raid) by email to info@dreizinnenlauf.com or by fax to +39 0474/710318. The registration fee is 35 euros. The registration fee includes the high-quality starter package, as well as a pasta dish and drink at the pasta party.
