Marmotta Trophy: Roux and Rottmoser win the sprint race

The juniors started first. After the qualifying phases, Giulia Compagnoni, Alba De Silvestro, Laura Balet Caixach, Marianne Fatton, Lena Bonnel and Una Forchthammer advanced to the final. The Italian Giulia Compagnoni, who was not feeling the strain of Saturday's race, immediately moved to the front of the group and on the first technical section, which had to be completed on foot with skis in her backpack, she already had a reassuring lead. Compagnoni made no mistakes on the descent and crossed the finish line with a time of 4'00''. The Swiss Marianne Fatton came second with a gap of 3'' and third place went to the Frenchwoman Lena Bonnel.

Thomas Corthay triumphs in the juniors In the juniors' final, Davide Magnini, Simon Bellabouvier, Thomas Corthay, Swann Juillaguet, Valentino Bacca and Pietro Canclini competed. Magnini immediately took the lead, closely followed by the Frenchman Bellabouvier and Corthay. Magnini remained in the lead until the last change, then Thomas Corthay took advantage of Magnini's mistake when he pulled the skins off his skis and was the first to leave the place. The Swiss gave it his all, made no mistakes on the descent and finally crossed the finish line with a time of 3'08''. Magnini confirmed second place, just two seconds behind, while Bellabouvier came third, 3'15'' behind.

Rottmoser wins in 3'26" After the juniors' flower ceremony, the senior category started. After the qualifications and the two semi-finals, the two Germans Josef Rottmoser and Lautenbacher as well as Robert Antonioli, Yannick Ecoeur, Nadir Maguet and Marcel Marti made it to the final. On the final lap, Rottmoser immediately took the lead, closely followed by world champion Robert Antonioli, who appeared to be in trouble and fell back. Rottmoser was hot on Lautenbacher and Ecoeur's heels. On the carrying section, Robert Antonioli accelerated as usual and regained second position. At the last change, Rottmoser was the first to leave the place with a small lead, which ultimately secured him victory with a time of 3'26''. Antonioli confirms second place, just five seconds behind. Toni Lautenbacher came third, 3'37'' behind.

Laetitia Roux is once again in a class of her own After the qualifying phases, the women played directly in the semi-finals. The two races led Elena Nicolini, Laetitia Roux, Emelie Forsberg, Malene Haukøy, Melanie Bernier and Martina Valmassoi to the final. From the start it was immediately clear that the only victory was over the Frenchwoman Laetitia Roux. There was a tough sporting competition between Emelie Forsberg and Elena Nicolini for second place. Roux made everything clear with a time of 3'43'', followed by the Italian Nicolini, who kept a cool head and was able to win the duel against the Swede Forsberg in the end. Nicolini recorded a time of 3'54'', while Forsberg needed 3'57''.
