The organizers of the now classic ski touring race in Ahrntal, in collaboration with champion Manfred Reichegger, have done everything they can to guarantee this year's race and have found an important partner in the Speikboden ski area. New route, new program Due to the unsatisfactory natural snow conditions on the original route in Weißenbach-Ahrntal, the race was moved to the slopes and open terrain of the nearby Speikboden ski area. Here, as they have already experimented with elsewhere this winter, the organizers have identified a route on the piste and in open terrain, with climbs, transition areas, backpack sections and descents, which is just as technically demanding and spectacular. The details will be announced between Thursday and Friday, as the announced snowfall must be taken into account. This year, the South Tyrolean race is considered the ISMF European Series, the Italian Championship in the Senior and Masters categories, the Italian Cup for Juniors and Cadets, and the South Tyrol Trophy in the youth categories.

OPEN races open to all licensed athletes Although the entire team of champions of the army sports group will be at the start again this year with last year's winner Denis Trento, Michele Boscacci, Nadir Maguet, Robert Antonioli, Manfred Reichegger, Matteo Eydallin, Damiano Lenzi, Francois Cazzanelli and Davide Magnini, the race is in Ahrntal is also intended for licensed amateur athletes from home and abroad.
