Ski touring: Nine medals for Italy in the vertical race – Reichegger 5.

Successful day for the “Azzurri” at the World Ski Touring Championships in Pelvoux, France: The Italians won new medals in the vertical race, the most important being Damiano Lenzi’s bronze in the men’s senior category. In the same ranking, Manfred Reichegger from Pusteria and the only South Tyrolean at the start took fifth place, while gold went to the Spaniard Kilian Jornet.
