On Sunday, February 3rd, the Feuerstein Skiraid will be held as a national championship and also as an Italian Cup race. “We are very pleased to have been given the trust to host an Italian Cup race after two very demanding organizational editions. This is a huge upgrade for the entire event, which will not only reflect an increase in the expected number of participants, but above all will also attract the best national athletes,” explains OC manager Stefanie De Simone.

This year too, the organizers have the ambitious goal of organizing an excellent ski touring competition. The basic requirements are already met by the spectacular route, which contains everything that makes a ski mountaineer's heart beat faster - steep climbs, crisp descents and passages where technical skills are required. The entry fee in the Master/Senior/Espoir categories is 40 euros, while in the Junior and Cadet categories it is 20 euros. The entry fee includes a starting package, lunch and food at the finish.

Around 100 winter sports athletes are expected at the starting area in the Erl cross-country skiing center on race day. The third edition of the ski touring competition in Pflersch is likely to be a great spectacle.
