Slopestyle Tour 2015: Two disciplines - one shared success

This time the Vitamin-F Freestyle Club performed particularly well, taking home victory in all four skiing categories. In the girls' category, Sarah Cantale won just ahead of her sister Valentina, who is two years older. Michelle Senoner from Val Gardena took third place. In the Children 1 category (born 2002-2003) Alexander Tschimben once again won. Liam Aurell Bock, who was able to collect his first tour points, landed in second place. David Hofer from the Freeride Club Val Gardena came third.

Maximilian Auer, winner at Kronplatz, once again showed what he was capable of this weekend with a technically clean run and took victory in the Children 2 category (born 2000-2001) with the best score of the day. Second place went to Moritz Comploi from ASC Plose, who was the same age, just ahead of his teammate, Hans Georg Niederegger. The victory of Jonas Seiwald (born 99) in the main category of juniors (born 1995-1999) made the triumph of the Vitamin-F Freestyle Club perfect. He already showed on Kronplatz that he is a serious competitor. But the Brixen athletes from the Rodeo Riders also showed that they were well trained and prepared. Felix Torggler (born 98) came second, his teammate Patrick Thaler (born 99) came third. The second stop of the 2015 Slopestyle Tour for skiers attracted almost 40 participants despite poor weather conditions.

In contrast to the skiers, the snowboarders started in 5 categories. The youngest participant was just eleven years old, the oldest was 31. In the women's race, the much more experienced Greta Felder won ahead of Roberta Rossi. In the kids category (born 2002 – younger) Lukas Holzer won just ahead of his younger competitor Niels Bock.

David Stuefer showed that he has great young talent. He took first place in the Grommets category (born 2000-2001) and thus scored the first important points for the overall ranking. Ondrej Viasak came second, just ahead of Jakob Huber, who was the same age. In the main category of rookies (born 1995-1999), Giulio Agea (born 97) took the lead in the starting field and left Philipp Rossi (born 99) and Patrick Messner (born 96) behind him with a technically demanding run . He is considered a big favorite in this category. A category of snowboarders was also open for those over 18 years old. Thomas Hinteregger (born 84) won this open men's category ahead of Alexander Rainer (born 83). Jean Luca Mutschlechner (born 92) came third.

Next, the Slopestyle Tour will stop at the Snowpark Alta Badia in St. Kassian on March 15th. The other dates for the snowboarders' domestic competition series are March 7th (Speibkoden) and March 28th (Kronplatz).

Last Sunday was a special day in the history of the South Tyrol Freestyle Cup. This time, skiers and snowboarders held their competition on the same day in the fun park on the Plose.
