Formerly a snowboarder, now a family

s+ is tracking down South Tyrolean sports legends in the new series “What happened to…?” This time it is the turn of a snowboard pioneer, Dagmar Mair, under the harrows.

“Dagi” – that’s what Dagmar Mair was called under the Eggen in the snowboard scene. Her sporting success story is as long as her last name. The now 46-year-old from the Puster Valley won the gold medal in the parallel slalom at the World Championships in San Candido in 1997, followed a few months later by her only World Cup victory (parallel slalom in Sölden). Today the mother of two works as a secretary. With s+ you can find out how she enjoys family life and what she particularly enjoys looking back on.
