The overall winners of the FISI Freestyle South Tyrol Cup have been determined

Roberta Rossi secured the day's victory among the girls, her brother Remo won the day among the children. And the third in the group, Philipp, made it onto the podium for the first time with third place among the rookies.

On Saturday he won ahead of David Stuefer and Felix Mantovan, and at the end of the series he was ahead of the brothers Ondrej and Michael Vlasak from Sarntal. It wasn't quite enough for Roberta Rossi to win the overall ranking. In the end, despite the victory on Saturday, she had to admit defeat to Greta Pallhuber from Olanger.

Anton Grünfelder took the day's victory among the rookies ahead of Patrick Messner and the eldest of the Rossi siblings, Philipp. Benno Plank won the overall ranking ahead of Patrick Messner and Marc Grossgasteiger.

Positive conclusion from the organizers

The initiators of the racing series, Simone Zardini and Tobias Scheuring from the Freestyle Club South Tyrol, were overwhelmed by the success of the racing series. “The level of the young people is impressive,” they said in unison. After this year's first edition of the FISI Freestyle Cup, the organizers want to introduce even more children and young people to racing next year.

“Now the drivers are off to the Italian championship. Afterwards, the official training of the new state squad begins on the glacier in Senales Valley. Our goal is to produce Olympians in snowboard freestyle,” said Tobias Scheuring confidently.
