The Alpine snowboarders have had a historic season. So all 3 crystal balls went to South Tyrol. While Aaron March won the overall and parallel slalom World Cup, old champion Roland Fiwickeler won the parallel giant slalom ball. With a view to the new season, 7 South Tyroleans were called up to the A squad: Daniele Bagozza, Edwin Coratti, Roland Fiwickeler, Aaron March, Gabriel Messner or Nadya Ochner and Jasmin Coratti. Of course they all want to be at the Olympic Games in Beijing. Among the women, Nadya Ochner was recently the only athlete who was part of the A squad. Now there are 4 Azzurre in this one.
