Italian Championship Boardercross: 7th Emanuel Perathoner

Luca Matteotti won the Italian Snowboarder Cross Championships on Tuesday in Valmalenco in the province of Sondrio. For the 24-year-old from the army sports group, it was already the fourth championship title after 2008, 2010 and 2011. Defending champion Omar Visintin had to miss a start due to back problems and so Emanuel Perathoner was the best South Tyrolean in 7th place, while Luca Visintin took 10th place. In the women's race, Michela Moioli repeated her victory from last year.
