Kummer and Unterkofler win the parallel giant slalom in Carezza
The Swiss Patrizia Kummer and the Austrian Anton Unterkofler won the first World Cup parallel giant slalom of this winter on the Pra di Tori slope in Carezza on Friday. The 27-year-old from Mühlebach beat last year's Japanese winner Tomoka Takeuchi in the final, while Unterkofler defeated the Slovenian Zan Kosir in the final. The race was disappointing for the “Azzurri”: Edwin Coratti was the best in the Italian team today in 10th place.
