Nadya Ochner opens the World Cup in Carezza

An atmospheric opening ceremony marked the starting signal for the World Cup event for Alpine snowboarders in Carezza early on Wednesday evening. In the marquee in the finish area, the athletes drew their respective start numbers for qualification for tomorrow's parallel giant slalom. This starts at 9 a.m.
