Olympic champion Michela Moioli in Sarntal

At the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in February, Michela Moioli became the first Azzurra to win the gold medal in snowboard cross. The 23-year-old is currently on vacation in Sarnthein.

“Burn dumplings and strudels,” wrote the Olympic champion from Bergamo on Instagram, the photo was of the athlete on a mountain bike, with Sarnthein in the background. “Very nice lap between Sarnthein and Meran 2000,” commented Michela Moioli.
