Perathoner survives qualifying confidently – Visintin continues to take a break

The World Cup circuit of snowboard crossers is stopping in Feldberg in the Black Forest for two races on this last pre-Olympic weekend. Qualification for Saturday's race took place on Friday. Emanuel Perathoner from Laion survived this qualification without any major problems. Teammate Omar Visintin from Lagundo is missing the races in Germany due to injury.
