In the quarterfinals, Nadya Ochner met 46-year-old Claudia Riegler from Austria. After a great start, the 26-year-old from Burgstal fell back, Riegler skilfully played out her routine and moved into the semifinals with a lead of 0,18 seconds - Ochner went to the fan club in the finish area.

With the duel between Maurizio Bormolini and Roland Fischnelller, things continued one after the other. “Fisch” was already in the lead in the meantime, Bormolini put everything on one card and fell 4 goals before the goal - Filehner was the only Azzurro to reach the semi-finals. There the 16-time World Cup winner had to compete against Igor Sluev.

After a quick start, Filehner immediately put the Russian under pressure, who then retired after a driving error. This meant that Filehner, who won the parallel giant slalom at the start of the World Cup in Russia a week ago, was once again in the final.

Blue wins

Against the Korean Sangho Lee, Fischnelller started the race again on the blue course. An early mistake by the Korean quickly put the Villnösser in a good position - the 39-year-old routinely brought the lead across the finish line - and as in Russia, Fischnelller celebrated his 17th . World Cup victory with a dance performance, much to the delight of the audience.

The women's race was won by Ramona Theresia Hofmeister (GER), who prevailed in the final against her teammate Selina Jörg.
