Snowboard: The giant slalom national champions have been crowned

134 athletes from South Tyrol, Trentino and Veneto took part in the competitions, including the four athletes from the Italian senior national team Christoph Mick, Edwin Coratti, Andrea Christine Tribus and Nadya Ochner.

The outstanding best time of the day for the men was set by Christoph Mick of 1:43,16 minutes, who also dominated the race in the senior male category. The fastest time for the women was Nadya Ochner (winner of the youth female category). She clearly left her teammate and winner of the Senior Female category, Andrea Christine Tribus, behind her.

In the Master A male class, victory went to an athlete from ASV Snow Gherdeina, namely Georg Rabanser. Hannes Hofer from Brixen knew how to impress in the youth male category.

Numerous young snowboarders were also in action.

At the weekend, the snowboarders took part in the Dreivenetoien Cup, which was also considered the national championship in giant slalom, in the Meran 2000 ski area on the Larchwald slope.
