South Tyrolean day in Rogla: Coratti wins ahead of Fiwickeler

The Azzurri are currently the measure of all things in the Snowboard World Cup. In the parallel giant slalom in Rogla, both Edwin Coratti from Langtaufer and Roland Filehner from Funes made it to the final. There, the 28-year-old Coratti had the upper hand and celebrated his third World Cup victory. The Vinschger region had already triumphed in Rogla a year ago.

Third place went to the Russian Vic Wild, who defeated his teammate Dimitri Loginow in the small final.

With second place in Rogla, Filehner was able to further extend his lead in the overall World Cup and is now almost 2 points ahead of Bormolini. Bagozza follows in third place in the overall ranking, just ahead of Coratti.

In the women's race, the victory in Rogla went to the Czech Ester Ledecka. She relegated Ramona Theresia Hofmeister from Germany to second place in the final.

Nadya Ochner from Burgstall finished the qualification in a strong 5th place. However, in the round of 10 she was eliminated by the Russian Sofia Nadyrshina and was ultimately ranked XNUMXth.
